- Description
Join us on Thursday, August 21st from 6:30-8:30pm in the Classroom for the second installment of our series: Cookbook Club. Every month, we’ll gather to go over a cookbook hand-selected by Barbara.
This time, we’re diving into Cooking in Real Life by Lidey Heuck, a book that came recommended by none other than the queen of casual elegance herself, Ina Garten. (Lidey was her assistant, so you know we’re in good hands.)
This book is full of dishes that feel timeless, but with just the right modern touch. Think simple, satisfying food that lets great ingredients shine, flavorful but never fussy, global in inspiration but totally doable on a weeknight. We’ll cook, taste, and talk through the recipes together, highlighting what makes Lidey’s approach so fresh yet familiar.
A copy of the cookbook is included with your class. Menu may include:
- Tomato & Corn Pesto Pasta
- Slow Roasted Salmon
- Salad Three Ways
- Peaches & Cream Pie
Please review the class policy before purchasing a seat in the class.
